Visit the Aiguille du Midi…

Learn to climb….

Climbing in the Mont-Blanc massif and the Chamonix Valley means compact rock, high mountains, superb granite and miles of gneiss. Whether you are an experienced rock climber or a total novice, nothing will stop you scaling the natural rock faces of the valley. If the weather isn’t looking too good, checkout the indoor climbing gym with more than 110 routes and 40 boulders.

Embrace your need for speed…

Since the opening of new trails in 2013, Chamonix has become a mountain biker’s heaven. Technical riding and easy cross-country trails means there’s something for everyone. Trails can be accessed via lifts or the available shuttle services, both of which are great options to get to the trails without a hassle.

Embark on a via ferrata…

If you can handle some exposure, this is a must do! The via ferrata “Via des Évettes” provides the best view of the Mont Blanc range from la Flégère. With a mixture of hiking and climbing, you’ll be amazed at your achievement! This is a great group activity that allows you to take on otherwise impassable ledges and cliffs.

A train takes you on a panoramic ride up to France’s largest glacier, the famous Mer de Glace. Upon arriving at the top, an extraordinary view of the glacier, frozen like a sea in motion will await you. Visit the ice cave or the Glaciorium for an interactive display on the formation glaciers.
